Halloween Pumpkin Competition

On the 23rd of October the TY's all took part in a pumpkin craving competition. We all had to design our own pumpkin face and they were then entered into a competition. The best ones were sent to Castletown to go on display. There was also a prize for first and second place. A girl in our school came first (she owned the black graveyard pumpkin)!!!!!!!!!

The Fun Walk!!

The Fun Walk was held on Friday the 2nd of October. Half of our class was sunflowers and the other half were storm clouds, while our tutor Mr. Lawlor was the sun. 'Ain't no sunshine when shes gone' was the first song played while the sunflowers were sad :(. Then ' Kung Fu Fighting' came on and the sunflowers started to stand up for themselves and fight the clouds. Then Mr Lawlor came in while the song ' I'm walking on sunshine' was playing and everyone became friends again! !:))

Our class came second but it was still super fun ;) 

Carlingford Trip

Carlingford 

We went to Carlingford on the 17th and the 18th of September. We did canoeing and then we had chicken nuggets and chips for lunch. We then did laser tag and our team won.
We went back for dinner and then did a night line walk in the forest. It was really scary but really fun. 
We then went back to our room (room 32) and went to the Chinese and also had lots of sweets and chocolate. It was really funnn!! 
The next day we did team building exercises and zip lining. I made lots of new friends and really enjoyed my time there.
